Books and Chocolate | Blogmas Day 6

I had my last exam of the year! Can’t believe I’m pretty much free until 2018. I mean I still have to study and to things for my thesis, but there is no exam for now so which is so refreshing and needed.

Today I decided to walk around in the city centre and visit a small bookstore called Shakespeare & Company. I really want to start to support smaller bookstores and buy my books there, so I did a little research and found this beauty.

I mean, doesn’t look this just like heaven to you? I could spend hours and hours just exploring there, there is just so much to choose from. I end up buying The Gardens of Consolation by Parisa Reza, Turtles all the way down by John Green and All the light we cannot see by Anthony Doerr, three books I heard so much about and I’m super excited to read them!

My next stop had to be Julius Meinl. This shop is just incredible, it has everything food wise you’ll ever need to have the most perfect Christmas and a huge variation of chocolate and sweets from so many countries. You can’t basically leave without feeling a bit more festive!

There are so many small and antique bookstores in Vienna and funnily enough I passed a lot of them today!

I love to just walk around the city and explore it without even knowing what I’m looking for. Unfortunately I don’t get to do that that often because of Uni, but when I get to explore Vienna, I’m always so amazed by the beauty of the city!
